"JLS was contracted last summer to do a complete restaining and repair of a large two-tiered deck. Julian ascertained what needed to be done and his team did a fantastic job of the entire refurbishment — cleaning, stripping, sanding and reapplying stain not only on the horizontal parts of the deck but also the vertical walls. Some repairs were rather complicated and involved reinforcing stairs that had become unstable. What made my impression of his company even more impressive was their attention to detail. When asked why the stain was applied with a brush rather than a roller — a much faster method — Julian explained a roller would leave the edges of the boards without stain, whereas brushing would coat the entire surface and edges. We have had our deck restained a number of times over the years and this was the only time it was done this way. I cannot recommend Julian's company highly enough. The company deserves the highest recommendation for workmanship. For any landscaping jobs, cleanups, or deck work, JLS will be the first company we call."
